QA Engineer:


• This position requires an Software Quality Assurance Engineer for a suite of applications.
• Develop, publish and implement test plans, test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, test data sets, and document expected results. Map test cases to system/software requirements in a verification traceability matrix.
• Must have a working knowledge of QA methodologies.

• Conduct multiple cycles of functional, system, and regression testing.
• Writes code and scripts and maintains test automation code and scripts more than 50% of the time.
• Conduct verification/validation testing for each software delivery.
• May also support certain aspects of performance/stress testing.
• Conduct testing to confirm that the design or execution of a system, tool or configuration item meets requirements.
• Categorize discrepancies found during testing and communicate scenario in which discrepancy was found. Document the results of testing, provide test reports, and present the results.
• Must have hands on experience working in NT, Unix, and/or Solaris environments.
• Must have strong communication skills with attention to details and should be able to work under general supervision.

• Participate in requirements and use case analysis, design reviews, engineering review boards, as needed.
• Provide feedback on "testability" of requirements to other members of the development team.
• Serve as part of a team of testers working on-site with the program office, consisting of an integrated team of Staff and Contract employees.
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule to meet schedule demands, deal with emergency releases, etc.
• Experienced tester with proven web-based and client/server testing experience.
• Experience in the use of formal test tools, test cases, and scenarios to drive testing.
